One Major Curse From God
As a child growing up we dream about one day finding
that one special person to spend the rest of our life with. Then one day it happens, you find yourself madly in love and just
cant wait for the day you become one in the eyes of God and man.
That wedding day has been dreamed about for years
and now this special day has taken place as you stood before the love of your life, family and friends. Together that once
beautiful girlfriend is now becoming your wife as you both stand in awe of each other repeating your vows before God and man.
You are promising to be faithful to each other, to love honor, cherish, obey, love each other in sickness and in health, richer
or poorer and in no time at all you have made a solemn promise a vow to each other before man and God as you became man and
wife that beautiful day.
Then days of bliss and you feel your living on top of the world and nothing can or will ever
go wrong and it doesn’t until the first argument comes, then the second, the third and finally words flying around demeaning
each other and someone blurts out, I hate you, I hate you, and the battle is over as one is now left devastated by careless
words spoken in a moment of anger.
Then thoughts of revenge sets in and the devil has you right where he wants you,
as the stage is now set for your devious little thoughts of pay back time. Never once have you weighed out the options, deciding
two wrongs never make a right. Never once do you look at consequences on down the road, never once do you even care about
the things you will face in the future, or the pain that you may inflict on this person you promised, vowed to love, honor,
cherish etc. before God and man.
Then a smooth talker comes along and in no time your resistance and your promises
and vow are forgotten, as you become a cheating spouse. (There is a song titled, Looking for love in all the wrong places,)
and friend if your in the arms of someone else you have to realize now, you not only broke your promise, your vow to your
spouse but to God. This infidelity is very bad, guilt sets in, more battles takes place as you try to work things out with
your spouse; because your guilt is in high mode now you look for reasons to blame the other one for your lack of composure
and ways to justify your actions. But friend no matter how much you justify your actions to yourself, what about God? Did
you realize not only have you walked a path of destruction; you have received a curse from God! A curse now hangs over your
marriage and each time you return to your non-committal ways you are receiving curse after curse upon your life, your marriage
and that one day your children because of your disobedience to God will inherit these curses.
Proverbs 3:33
The
curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: But he blesseth the habitation of the just.
Proverbs 26:2
As
the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Deuteronomy 11:26
Behold,
I set before you this day a blessing and a curse.
A blessing is given to you if you obey the commandments of the Lord
your God.
A curse if you don’t obey his commandments and decide to follow after other gods.
Lust, money,
perversions, idol worship and the list go on.
Pray Dear Saint's, Pray!!!
